Cultivation takes place in the Elbasan region, where we maintain rigorous oversight of our groves throughout the year. We prioritize sustainable agricultural practices, ensuring tree health strictly without the use of chemicals.
When November arrives, we harvest at the perfect moment of maturity when the olives turn from green to violet. This timing sacrifices quantity for quality, ensuring the highest concentration of polyphenols and flavor.
To ensure low acidity and maximum freshness, our olives are pressed within 24 hours of harvest. We use state-of-the-art continuous cycle machinery that keeps the temperature strictly below 28°C (Cold Press).
This mechanical process extracts the olive oil without water or solvents, preserving the natural antioxidants and the distinct, authentic flavor profile of Valmi Extra Virgin olive oil..

Once extracted, the oil is stored in stainless steel tanks shielded from light and oxygen to maintain freshness. We allow the oil to settle naturally before bottling.

Strength in Cooperation. The Federation was established in 2001 by a group of farmers with the initial goal of setting up a dedicated olive oil production facility. Over time, it evolved into a vital hub for the entire Elbasan region. Beyond providing essential support to the farming community, we successfully entered the market with a product of superior quality.
By 2008, our facility was fully licensed for the complete cycle: production, processing, bottling, and export. Marking the official birth of the Valmi brand.
